Shawn Maydak, the Seven Sorrows Eagles’ beloved coach and mentor, has passed away.
This is to notify you of the passing of Pennsylvanian Shawn Maydak. Shawn Maydak reportedly died at an early age on March 5, 2025. His family and the Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, York, Pennsylvania community were shocked to learn of his passing. Shawn Maydak left behind a cherished son and a stunning bride. Mason and Ashley Maydak are his survivors. Shawn Maydak was employed at Maydak and Son Lawncare, as far as we know. He had lived in Steelton, Pennsylvania, for a long period.

Olivia Johnson recalled Maydak, Shawn. “You and your stunning wife, Ashely AWLAYS, Shawn Maydak, gave the stadium family a sense of unity.” Every moment we spent together, every song we sang and jammed to, was something I cherished. Both of you are loved. The Ashely regardless of why we are here. You are a member of the family. Shawn, I will dedicate every country song I sing in the future to you. And every time ❤️❤️ I’ll see your smile and feel your high five. You are extremely loved.
He received praise from Kammie Fickes. “I’m still stunned. Today, one of the most generous persons I have ever encountered entered Heaven. Thank you for teaching me everything I know about darts, Shawn Maydak. It will not be the same to enter a stadium without a hug and a “how are you? Did you win?” Peace be with you.
