The loss of Officer Anthony Cantoral is mourned by the Cobb County Police Department.

The Cobb County Police Department is in grief for Officer Anthony Cantoral, a strong and committed law enforcement officer who died in a motorcycle accident.

Authorities said the collision happened on I-75 South close to the Marietta area on March 14, 2025, at around 2:45 PM. When Officer Cantoral struck a car, he was riding a motorcycle.

Officer Cantoral was a 10-year veteran of the Cobb County Police Department, serving with distinction and dedication. He was assigned to the department’s Uniform Division and was known for his exceptional work ethic, compassion, and commitment to serving the community.

“Officer Cantoral was an outstanding officer and an even better person,” said Cobb County Police Chief, Mike Register. “He will be deeply missed by his colleagues, friends, and the entire community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”

The family of Officer Anthony Cantoral has announced the funeral arrangements as follows:

– Visitation: March 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152
– Funeral Service: March 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mount Paran Church of God, 2050 Mount Paran Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327
– Interment: March 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Memorial Highway, Canton, GA 30114

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS

The family asks that memorial donations be given to the Officer Anthony Cantoral Memorial Fund in lieu of flowers. This fund will be used to help local law enforcement charities and the Benevolent Fund of the Cobb County Police Department.
