PLANE CRASH OFF HONDURAS COAST CLAIMS 7 LIVES
A devastating plane crash occurred off the Caribbean coast of Honduras on Monday night, resulting in the loss of seven lives. The Jetstream aircraft, operated by Honduran airline Lanhsa, was carrying 14 passengers and three crew members when it crashed into the water just minutes after taking off from Roatan Island.
SURVIVORS RESCUED
Rescue efforts were swiftly launched, and 10 survivors were pulled out from the wreckage alive. The survivors were transported to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical attention.
VICTIMS IDENTIFIED
According to the flight manifest, the passengers included a U.S. national, a French national, and two minors. Well-known Garifuna musician Aurelio Martinez Suazo was among those killed in the crash.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. The plane was scheduled to fly to La Ceiba airport on the Honduran mainland.
