Aiden Wayne Painter, Beloved 18-Year-Old, Passes Away
Aiden Wayne Painter, affectionately known as “Mr. P,” passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 18, in Winchester, Virginia. Aiden was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him, and his passing has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and community.
Aiden was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 2024, and a participant of Project Search at Winchester Medical Center. He was an active member of Area 13 Special Olympics and enjoyed various activities, including riding his four-wheeler, bowling, and playing Bocce.
Aiden’s family, including his parents, Adam and Stacy Painter, his sister, Sydney Painter, and his brother, Keagan Painter, are deeply saddened by his loss. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, David and Judy Terry, and his paternal grandparents, Larry and Sequita Painter.
A memorial service was held on February 22, 2025, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, in Winchester, Virginia, to celebrate Aiden’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aiden’s memory to Area 13 Special Olympics or the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research.
Aiden’s passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift others.
