Memphis Mourns as ‘BankBred Tubb’ Identified as Victim in Fatal Shooting on Whitney Avenue, Community Calls for Justice and an End to Violence

 

 

 

The Memphis community is grieving the tragic loss of Robert “BankBred Tubb” Johnson, who was fatally shot on Saturday morning in the Frayser neighborhood. Officers responded to a shooting incident at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Whitney Avenue, where they discovered Johnson deceased at the scene.
