The Georgia law enforcement community and beyond are coming together to support Sgt. Royce Zah, a dedicated Trooper with the Georgia State Patrol, and his wife, Brittany, as they navigate an unimaginable tragedy—the sudden passing of their beloved 5-year-old daughter, Navi.
On March 28, 2025, what began as an unexpected medical illness took a devastating turn. Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, little Navi tragically passed away, surrounded by the love of her grieving family. The heartbreak of losing a child is an indescribable pain, and now, the Zah family is left to cope with a loss no parent should ever have to endure.
A Dedicated Public Servant and a Family in Need
Sgt. Royce Zah is a 13-year veteran of the Georgia State Patrol, known for his unwavering dedication to protecting and serving the community. Throughout his career, he has exemplified courage, selflessness, and commitment to duty. His family has always stood as a pillar of strength, offering support to others in times of need. Now, in their darkest hour, they need the community’s support.
In response to this heartbreaking loss, the Georgia Trooper Chapter of the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) of Georgia and the Police Benevolent Foundation (PBF) have launched a fundraising effort to help ease the financial burdens the Zah family now faces.
