A tragic motorcycle accident on the evening of April 1, 2025, resulted in the death of 19-year-old Ty Graves in Monroe County, Kentucky. The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 15 responded to the incident, which occurred on County House Road near Tompkinsville.
Details of the Accident
According to KSP’s initial investigation, Graves was traveling westbound on County House Road on his motorcycle when he attempted to overtake another vehicle in a no-passing zone. In doing so, he collided with a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Marilyn Deweese, also of Tompkinsville. Graves sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by the Monroe County Coroner’s Office. Deweese suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
