Tragedy at Axis Apartments: Nashville Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide That Left Man and Woman Dead in Suspected Domestic Violence Incident on Glengarry Drive
NASHVILLE, TN — April 7, 2025 — A quiet afternoon at a South Nashville apartment complex was shattered on Monday when Metro Nashville Police discovered the bodies of a man and woman inside an apartment unit in what authorities are calling an apparent murder-suicide.
Deadly Discovery at Axis Apartments
At approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Axis Apartments, located on Glengarry Drive just off Murfreesboro Pike. When officers entered one of the units, they found two individuals deceased in a bedroom, both suffering from gunshot wounds. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
