WARNER ROBINS, GA — Authorities in Warner Robins are investigating a tragic domestic shooting that claimed the life of 29-year-old Falon Graham. The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Antonio Mendy, is now in police custody and facing charges in connection with the fatal incident.
According to the Warner Robins Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Arbor Creek Way late Tuesday night after receiving a 911 call reporting gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Graham unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute between Graham and Mendy, who were known to have been in a relationship. Witnesses reported hearing a heated argument followed by gunshots shortly before police arrived.
Mendy was apprehended without incident a short time later and taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Houston County Detention Center. Formal charges, including murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, are expected to be filed.
