WARNER ROBINS, GA — A domestic disturbance turned deadly early Thursday morning in Warner Robins, Georgia, leaving one woman dead and a man in custody. The Warner Robins Police Department has confirmed that the fatal shooting took place just after midnight at a residence located at 121 Willis Creek Road.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a domestic dispute accompanied by gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered a woman, later identified as Falon Graham, also known by the name Falon Mency, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also found at the residence was 43-year-old Antonio Mendy, also referred to as Antonio Mency, who was immediately taken into custody without incident. Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic altercation between the two, who were known to be in a relationship.

Investigators quickly secured the scene, collected evidence, and began conducting interviews. The Warner Robins Police Department has not yet released details about what led to the shooting, but early findings point to a case of domestic violence escalating to lethal force.

The Houston County Coroner’s Office has confirmed Graham’s identity, and an autopsy is expected to be performed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) as part of the ongoing investigation.

In a statement, Warner Robins Police Chief John Wagner expressed condolences to Graham’s family and emphasized the department’s dedication to investigating crimes involving domestic violence.

“This is a heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts are with the victim’s loved ones. Domestic violence is a tragic and often silent crisis in our communities, and we urge anyone in danger to seek help.”

Family members and friends of Graham have taken to social media to mourn her passing, describing her as compassionate, strong, and deeply loved. Plans for a candlelight vigil are underway, and relatives are requesting privacy as they grieve.

Mendy is currently being held at the Houston County Detention Center and is expected to face multiple charges, including murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. His initial court appearance is pending.

This case highlights the continuing issue of domestic violence in Georgia and across the United States.
