Fatal Shooting Under Investigation on Checkerberry Lane in Pendleton, South Carolina; Authorities Confirm One Man Dead as Scene Remains Active
PENDLETON, S.C. — A homicide investigation is underway in Pendleton after a deadly shooting occurred Saturday afternoon in a quiet residential neighborhood. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that one man is dead following the incident, which took place on Checkerberry Lane, drawing a significant response from local and county authorities.
