Man Identified as Diehl Shot and Killed in Forsyth County; Authorities Say Attack Was Targeted

A man identified only by the surname Diehl was shot and killed on Wednesday in Forsyth County, North Carolina, in what authorities are describing as a targeted attack. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire in a residential neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival, deputies found Diehl suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
