Clark County, WA — A tragic two-car collision near Washougal early Saturday morning has claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl and left another teenager injured. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast 20th Street and Southeast 352nd Avenue, a spot that local residents have long considered hazardous.
Emergency responders were alerted to the scene by an automated crash notification. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles involved in the accident, including a silver Toyota Prius carrying three teenage girls.
The 17-year-old passenger in the back seat of the Prius sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, she later died from those injuries.
