Krista Marie Vogue, 27, of Pittston Township, Obituary: A Heartfelt Tribute to a Life of Light

With heavy hearts, the community of Pittston Township mourns the sudden and unexpected passing of Krista Marie Vogue, aged 27, who entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and friend, Krista’s departure has left a deep void in the lives of all who were privileged to know and love her.

A Cherished Life Remembered

Krista was born on October 1, 1997, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, the beloved daughter of MaryAnn (Bryk) Vogue and Gary Vogue. She was a devoted sister to Marissa (Vogue) Giambra and her husband Joseph Giambra, and to Kayla (Vogue) Prescott and her husband Dylan Prescott. Krista was also a proud and doting aunt to Madison and Westin Giambra, whose lives were forever brightened by her love.

She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Paul Brady; her paternal grandmother, Joanie (Skrzysowske) Vogue; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched with warmth, compassion, and grace.

Krista is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Bernadine (Kuna) and Vincent Bryk, and her paternal grandfather Edward Vogue.

A Life of Dedication and Compassion

A proud graduate of King’s College (Class of 2020), Krista built a promising career as a Human Resource Generalist at McCarthy Tire Services. Her colleagues described her as deeply committed, empathetic, and driven—a true professional with a heart for helping others succeed.

Outside of her career, Krista’s passions reflected her compassionate spirit. She adored animals, especially dogs, and her love for her rescue pitbull, Bubba, was well-known. She championed animal welfare causes and regularly supported shelters and rescues in the region.

Finding Joy in the Everyday

Krista found joy in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments—fishing with her dad, shopping with her mom and sisters, traveling to Montana and Wyoming with her family, and enjoying meals with friends. Her laughter lit up every room, and her presence brought peace and comfort to everyone around her.

To know Krista was to feel loved. Her radiant kindness, endless generosity, and deep emotional intelligence made her a rare soul—one whose legacy will endure through every heart she touched.

Final Farewell

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish – Immaculate Conception Church, located at 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA. Monsignor John J. Sempa will officiate the service as family, friends, and community members gather to honor and celebrate her life.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., located at 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.

Honoring Her Memory

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Krista’s memory to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, a cause close to her heart and reflective of her deep love for animals.

In Loving Memory

Krista Marie Vogue’s life was a gift—one of light, compassion, and unshakeable love. Though she left this world far too soon, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
