VALDOSTA, GA — Panic gripped the Valdosta community on Saturday, August 2, 2025, after unconfirmed reports of an active shooter at Valdosta Mall prompted a swift and massive law enforcement response. Police have surrounded the area, shut down nearby roads, and are urging all residents and visitors to avoid the mall immediately until further notice.
