James Matthew Wilson II was born on July 2, 2004, to Kimberly Dennison Hamil and Matt Wilson. A proud lifelong resident of Dyer County, Tennessee, Matthew graduated with the Class of 2022 from Dyer County High School (DCHS), where he built friendships that would last a lifetime.
A Legacy of Love and Devotion
More than just a son, a brother, or a friend, Matthew was a guiding light in the lives of many. He was a devoted father to his precious daughter, Weslynne Wilson, whom he cherished above all else. Everything he did was rooted in love for his family, and his determination to provide for them was unwavering.
Matthew’s quick wit, contagious smile, and warm spirit made every room brighter. He had an innate ability to make people laugh, feel seen, and feel loved. Whether you needed help, comfort, or simply a companion to enjoy life with, Matthew was always there. To grow up with him was to know joy, adventure, and steadfast support.

The love shared between Matthew and those who knew him best is a reflection of a life well lived, though far too brief.
