The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent public alert as the search intensifies for Raequan Lameek Ratliff, a 28-year-old man from Hamlet, North Carolina, who is now wanted for murder in connection with the death of Wendell Robinson Jr., a 36-year-old resident of Ellerbe.
Ratliff is the subject of multiple active arrest warrants, including a first-degree murder warrant stemming from an ongoing homicide investigation that has shaken the Richmond County community.
Murder Investigation: What We Know So Far
According to investigators, the case centers around the recent fatal shooting of Wendell Robinson Jr., whose death has been classified as a homicide following a thorough investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
