The fatal collision occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Hopewell Church Road and GA-133 South, an area known for its rural stretches and limited lighting. According to preliminary reports from the Georgia State Patrol, the crash involved a sedan and a pickup truck, though the official cause remains under investigation.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene as first responders from the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, and local EMS rushed to the site.
