HAMPTON, Va. — Heartbreak has struck Hampton as family and friends mourn the loss of 19-year-old Tim Duncan, affectionately known as “Kroy,” from Cherry Creek, who was identified as the victim of a deadly double shooting Monday night. The tragic incident, which left another teen seriously injured, has shaken the local community to its core.

The Incident on Sacramento Drive

The shooting unfolded around 7:35 p.m. on Monday in the first block of Sacramento Drive, near North Armistead Avenue. Hampton Police say officers arrived on the scene to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds — Duncan, 19, and a 17-year-old boy.

Despite lifesaving efforts, Duncan was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The teenage boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where authorities have since confirmed he is in stable condition.
