MEAD, Oklahoma — Authorities are urgently seeking the public’s assistance after the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) issued a Kasey Alert for Jason Merrit, 50, an endangered missing person last seen in Mead.

According to OHP, Merrit was last seen on foot in Mead, wearing blue jeans and a shirt of unknown color. Officials describe him as 6′0″ tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Concerns for Merrit’s Safety

OHP has raised concerns for Merrit’s well-being, noting that he suffers from several mental illnesses and may be suicidal. Authorities emphasize the urgency of locating him safely as quickly as possible.

“Jason is considered an endangered missing person,” OHP stated. “We urge anyone in the area who may have seen him, or has information about his whereabouts, to contact law enforcement immediately.”
