QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY, Md. — After months of tireless investigation, three men have been arrested in connection with the June 2025 shooting death of 19-year-old Christopher Parsley in Queenstown. The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff announced that Kamryn Andrews, 19, of Seaford, Delaware; James Lawson, 20, of Queenstown; and Travis Lissau, 27, of Centreville, were all taken into custody on October 8, 2025. Each faces a series of serious charges, including manslaughter, attempted second-degree murder, assault, and multiple firearm offenses.
The deadly shooting took place in the early morning hours of June 1, when deputies responded to a report of gunfire in the 1500 block of Centreville Road in Queenstown. Upon arrival, officers discovered Parsley suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts from first responders, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The loss sent shockwaves through the close-knit community, prompting a wide-reaching investigation that spanned state lines and multiple jurisdictions.
Detectives from the Queen Anne’s County Criminal Investigation Unit immediately began piecing together what happened that night, working alongside numerous partners including the FBI Baltimore-Annapolis Field Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the Maryland State Police, and several Delaware law enforcement agencies. Investigators spent months following leads, collecting evidence, and interviewing witnesses in an effort to identify those responsible for the young man’s death.
Their persistence paid off. After presenting the case to a Queen Anne’s County Grand Jury, prosecutors secured indictments against Andrews, Lawson, and Lissau. Warrants were issued earlier this week, and the three men were arrested without incident. All are currently being held without bond.
Authorities have not disclosed a clear motive, but Sheriff Gary Hofmann described the case as a painstaking effort that demonstrates the power of collaboration across agencies and the community’s resilience in the face of tragedy.
“This has been an incredibly difficult time for Chris’s family and for our entire community,” Sheriff Hofmann said. “The effects of this tragedy have been deeply felt, and our thoughts remain with those who continue to grieve. This investigation reflects the strength of collaboration between our community and our law enforcement partners.”
Hofmann added that community input played a crucial role in advancing the investigation and urged residents to continue sharing information.
“As the investigation continues, every tip, video, and witness account remains vital to bringing closure for Chris’s family and our community,” he said. “We have zero tolerance for crime in Queen Anne’s County and will always stand up for victims who no longer have a voice.”
The arrests mark a significant step forward in a case that has haunted Queen Anne’s County for months. Friends and family describe Christopher Parsley as a kind, hardworking young man with a bright future — a life cut short far too soon.
Though charges have been filed, the investigation is still active. The sheriff’s office continues to seek additional information and encourages anyone with knowledge about the shooting to contact the Anonymous Tip Line at 410-758-6666 or email Sheriff-Info@qac.org.
For now, the community of Queenstown holds tight to the hope that justice for Christopher Parsley is finally within reach.
