LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA  — A festive night at Lincoln University took a tragic turn on Saturday, October 25, 2025, when gunfire erupted outside the university’s International Cultural Center during homecoming celebrations, leaving victim identified as Jujuan Jeffers, 25, of Wilmington, Delaware, lost, and six others wounded. Authorities have since arrested Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, also of Wilmington, in connection with the shooting.

Shooting Details

The incident unfolded shortly after a football game as students, alumni, and visitors gathered for festivities. Police confirmed that multiple shots were fired and more than one individual may have been involved, creating chaos and panic among attendees.

Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson was taken into custody following the incident. Investigators reported that Morgan-Thompson told authorities the firearm used belonged to his mother.
