Tragedy in Detroit: Man on Bike Fatally Struck in Apparent Hit-and-Run Involving City Bus

DETROIT, MI — July 4, 2025 — A devastating scene unfolded in the early morning hours of Independence Day after a man was fatally struck in what witnesses are describing as a hit-and-run involving a Detroit city bus.

The collision occurred near the intersection of Baldwin and Rundell, shortly after 12:20 a.m., according to bystanders who were at the scene.
