A high-speed police pursuit involving a stolen flatbed truck culminated in a violent multi-vehicle collision in Long Beach on March 28, 2025, leaving several individuals injured and causing extensive property damage.

The incident began around 2:41 p.m. near the Harbor Freeway and Adams Street in downtown Los Angeles. The suspect, operating a stolen flatbed truck, led law enforcement officers on a perilous chase through multiple Southern California communities, including Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, and Norwalk. During the pursuit, the driver reached speeds exceeding 100 mph, frequently driving against traffic, sideswiping vehicles, and narrowly avoiding collisions with public transportation vehicles.

The chase reached a devastating conclusion in Long Beach. At the intersection of Seventh Street and Termino Avenue, the suspect ran a red light and crashed into multiple vehicles before coming to a stop against a metal railing in the parking lot of a Sherwin-Williams Paint Store. Despite the severity of the crash, the suspect exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by officers a few blocks away.

Injuries and Damage
