Texas Mother Arrested After 4-Month-Old Baby Hospitalized with Severe Head Injuries in Alarming Case of Suspected Abuse
HOUSTON, TX — A shocking case of suspected child abuse has gripped the Houston community after a 4-month-old baby was rushed to the ICU with severe head trauma and facial injuries. The infant’s mother, 20-year-old Jessy Madeline Moore, has been arrested and charged as investigators probe the harrowing circumstances that left the child fighting for their life.
The incident unfolded earlier this week when the infant was brought to a local hospital with visible signs of trauma, including a large black eye, bruising along the side of the face, and noticeable swelling on the head. Alarmed by the extent and nature of the injuries, medical professionals at the facility immediately alerted law enforcement and transferred the baby to Texas Children’s Hospital for emergency pediatric care.
Doctors soon confirmed the injuries were not consistent with any form of accident, describing them as blunt-force trauma that appeared inflicted intentionally.
