A tragic incident occurred early Friday morning when a car crashed into a building near East 15th Street and Sheridan Road. The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it veered off the road, struck a curb, and collided with a concrete structure. The impact caused the car to catch fire.
Emergency Response
Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle engulfed in flames. Two officers managed to open the door and rescue a 21-year-old male passenger trapped inside. Both the passenger and the driver were taken to a nearby hospital. Tragically, the passenger later died from his injuries.
