A automobile accident in Abbeville County claims Elizabeth Brown’s life.

WSPA, or Abbeville County, S.C. A collision in Abbeville County early on Friday morning has left one person dead and another injured.

The collision happened at Maddox Bridge Road, close to SC 252, around three in the morning, according to the SC Highway Patrol. Troopers said that a Dodge pickup truck struck a bridge after veering off to the left side of the road while heading north.

Due to his injuries, the truck driver was sent to a neighboring hospital.

The traveler was pronounced dead.

The passenger was identified by the Abbeville County Coroner’s Office as Elizabeth Brown, a Greenville resident, age 38.

The SCHP is still investigating the collision.
