Andrea “Andi” Franklin, a cherished citizen of Bourbonnais, Illinois, and a distinguished professor at Olivet Nazarene University, passed away unexpectedly. We mourn her loss. On March 7, 2025, Andi unexpectedly passed away, a day after joyfully welcoming a healthy baby girl into the world. The community she served with such enthusiasm is severely affected by her loss, which has left an immense vacuum in the lives of her family, friends, students, and coworkers. Her death was linked to unanticipated postpartum complications.
