STRONG, AR — With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, the family and community of MeaRanda Nicole Fairris, age 36, announce her unexpected passing on July 27, 2025, in Strong, Arkansas. Born on April 3, 1989, in El Dorado, MeaRanda brought light, love, and laughter into the lives of all who knew her.

A proud daughter of Randy Fairris and Belinda Farris, MeaRanda was raised in the heart of Strong and attended Strong High School, where she made a lasting impression with her kindness and vivacious personality. Throughout her life, she remained a loyal friend, a devoted daughter, and a nurturing mother whose spirit touched countless lives.

A Spirit Full of Light and Love

To know MeaRanda was to feel the warmth of her unconditional love. She had a remarkable ability to uplift those around her, whether through a comforting word, a heartfelt hug, or her radiant smile that never failed to brighten a room. Her laughter was contagious, her heart enormous, and her presence unforgettable.

MeaRanda leaves behind three beautiful children who were the center of her world: Opal Farris of Strong, Phoenix Broussard of Little Rock, and Faithann Farris of Strong. Her love for her children was unwavering, and she took pride in every moment spent raising them with courage and compassion.

She is also survived by her loving parents: Randy (Ashley) Fairris and Belinda Farris, both of Strong; her siblings Austin Fairris (Morgan) of Strong and Amanda Miller (Joey) of Five Points; maternal grandparents Jimmy and Glenda Farris of Strong; and her paternal grandfather Morgan Fairris, also of Strong.

She was adored by a large extended family, including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many treasured friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Gone but Never Forgotten

MeaRanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Barbara Ann Fairris and cousin Laken Virginia Smith. Their reunion in eternity is a comforting thought for those she leaves behind.

Celebrating Her Life

Family and friends are invited to honor MeaRanda’s life during a visitation on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Strong, Arkansas.

The funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Bro. Bill Howard and Bro. Greg Cook officiating. Interment will follow at New London Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
