It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our own. This morning, Elida High School learned that Kenny Schultheis, who was preparing to enter his junior year, has passed away. Kenny’s unexpected departure leaves a deep void in our school community—among his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and teammates.
Remembering Kenny’s Bright Spirit
Kenny was more than just a student—he was a friend, a teammate, and a source of warmth to everyone who knew him. His kindness, easy smile, and positive energy touched the lives of many. As a young man with dreams ahead, he was ready to take on new challenges, build stronger friendships, and leave his mark both in and out of the classroom. His presence brought joy to many, and his absence will be felt deeply.

Our hearts and prayers are with Kenny’s family during this unimaginably difficult time. We also extend our support to his friends, teammates, and all whose lives were brightened by his. As we navigate this loss together, let us remember to lean on one another, share memories, and keep his spirit alive in the stories we tell.
