According to officials, officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District were called to the 2800 block of Gasconade Street around 12:30 a.m. after reports of a shooting in the area. When officers arrived, they found Stanley inside a residence with severe injuries. Witnesses on the scene were already providing care as officers and emergency responders worked tirelessly to help him.
Stanley was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The Homicide Division is currently investigating, and early findings indicate that the incident may have taken place outside the residence. Detectives continue to gather information as the investigation moves forward.
