WEST MILTON, Ohio — The West Milton community is heartbroken following a devastating incident that has claimed the lives of 33-year-old Jaymee M. Prichard and 25-year-old Jaime S. Gustitus of Sugarcreek Township. Authorities say both women lost their lives early Saturday morning in a tragic sequence of events that has left family, friends, and neighbors in shock and mourning.
According to West Milton Police, investigators believe the women’s lives were taken by 34-year-old Jacob E. Prichard, Jaymee’s husband, before he later died by suicide outside the West Milton Municipal Building. Officers discovered Jacob’s body inside a vehicle parked near the building, with Jaymee’s body found in the trunk.
Further investigation led police to another location, where the body of Jaime Gustitus, a coworker of Jacob’s, was found. Authorities believe both women were harmed in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 26, before Jacob took his own life.
