The city of Columbia, Missouri, is mourning the loss of 25-year-old Ethan Cash, a young man remembered for his warmth, kindness, and love for life. Ethan, who lived in Columbia and was originally from Kansas City, Kansas, tragically passed away following a motorcycle crash on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

According to the Columbia Police Department, the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Range Line Street and Rainforest Parkway. The collision involved multiple vehicles, including the motorcycle Ethan was operating. Investigators say a vehicle traveling south on Range Line attempted to turn eastbound onto Kennesaw Ridge Road, moving directly into the path of Ethan’s motorcycle.

Despite the swift response from emergency personnel and medical teams, Ethan succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. His family has since been notified.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward by contacting the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers.

Friends and family describe Ethan as a bright light — a loyal friend, a loving son, and someone who could make anyone feel seen and appreciated. His passion for life and his easygoing spirit touched everyone he met, whether it was through his friendships, his work, or his love for the open road.

“Ethan was one of those rare people who could bring joy into any situation,” one friend shared. “He had a big heart and always found a way to make people laugh. It doesn’t seem real that he’s gone.”

Those closest to Ethan say he had a deep love for motorcycles and adventure but was equally devoted to the people in his life. His passing leaves a profound void in the Columbia community and among all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As loved ones come together to honor his memory, they are reminded not only of the dangers that come with driving but also of the importance of cherishing every single day.

May Ethan Cash rest in peace — his light will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

🕊️ “Forever remembered, forever missed.”
