BEAUMONT, TX  — The Beaumont community is grieving the tragic loss of 33-year-old Clarence Rosamore, who passed away following a fatal shooting on Friday evening, November 7. The Beaumont Police Department has confirmed that officers responded swiftly to reports of gunfire and discovered Rosamore suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities identified the suspect as 26-year-old Eleazar Stansbury, who was located at the scene and taken into custody without incident. The investigation remains active as detectives work to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

According to preliminary reports, officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving multiple 911 calls about shots fired in a residential area. Upon arrival, they found a deeply distressing scene that has since left neighbors and loved ones in shock.
